you will need to upgrade the electric line behind the oven . gas ovens only require 110 volt while electric ovens require 240

You are going to need space in the breaker box for a 220 breaker. Then you have to run a new line to the new stove. To do it yourself it will cost a couple of hundred dollars. To have a pro do it the cost will be between 300 to 500 dollars.

You will need a dedicated 30amp fused circuit for the electric cooker.
In UK you should also have a corgi registered plumber remove the gas connection and make it safe.

or you can get a 2 burner hot plate(110 volt) and a large toaster oven, also 110 volt. why??
