The guy farthest from the camera looks SO MUCH like Johan Glans from Sweden (a swedish comedian)

mergirlxx September 2, 2010 at 3:53 pm

CanadianDH September 2, 2010 at 4:01 pm

Oh my God !!I At first I was very sad for him !!
This is useful for kids and it would sell millions but the man was in such unlucky sticky situation !!
At least he got a deal but it wasn’t fair actually (in case of his invention worked ).
I hope the best for this man , He looks Kind .

thekrutch434 September 2, 2010 at 6:04 pm

no wonder richard farleigh left. he had no taste in inventions.

WondershareDVDRipper September 2, 2010 at 6:05 pm

I see the segment is narrated in the past tense so it’s more like a story.
They’ve reverted to the present tense on the recent programmes.

@Nabokov50 He doesn’t haved an accent he is English. YOU have an accent.

chrcoluk September 2, 2010 at 6:36 pm

@doh1959 my guess when it was on without the egg the components fried.
for the 2nd failure dont know.

Bertstaz235 September 2, 2010 at 6:50 pm

@StickyickyX lol well basically he told me soon after he engaged with the offer with the dragons he broke away from them, due to some unknown reason. He hasn’t continued with this too much but has them available at his home and they do work.

StickyickyX September 2, 2010 at 6:52 pm

@Bertstaz235 So where is his product? Have not seen anything that looks like his when it comes to electric egg cookers.

Bertstaz235 September 2, 2010 at 7:13 pm

this is my mates dad

PETURK September 2, 2010 at 8:01 pm

for a moment there it seemed he was going to be leaving with egg on his face; -)

Kathryn285 September 2, 2010 at 8:01 pm

@CanadaDan7 Ya I thought so too. I usually hafta microwave my eggs cause I work at 6:45 in the morning, and I just don’t have time to get up, get ready, eat and then leave. So I could set this with no boiling of water, while I do something else. I want one!

emmaherrod September 2, 2010 at 8:54 pm

I wonder whether the Dragons were more interesting in the technology itself. If I were him I would be making sure that if he applies for the patent that he owns it!

If the technology works, it’s great, but I just don’t get the point of the product. It seems to take as long as boiling your egg. You still need energy and the space for storage. I wouldn’t buy one :) Except as a novelty gift.

classicalmix September 2, 2010 at 9:34 pm

I wanna buy one, even if its a five minute one. Electric no water, if it works I wanna buy it.

Geistxxxx September 2, 2010 at 10:31 pm

@skhancanada01 would never buy an American car do, Japanese all the way :D

@fivecougarsoz Crazy as it may sound, arrogance can also be a valuable business tool.

ttrop September 2, 2010 at 11:15 pm

all 5 dragons would have went for it if it worked hell i would have done a donation if it worked

kawasakidirtbike September 2, 2010 at 11:31 pm

good for dorm rooms

apo5 September 3, 2010 at 12:07 am

It is a good idea – id like to buy one :)

watermind September 3, 2010 at 12:17 am

@MRIYBR Yes you want one so much that you couldn’t bother to google egg cooker to see if it was out already. And guess what, there are plenty of egg cookers around. This one? No. This one is the first result in google, but after over two years it is still under development.

KANGA September 3, 2010 at 1:32 am

It’s so easy to do yourself!!!! it should cost much if you’d rather get someone to do it. Get an electrician max £20 per hour!

cristanine September 3, 2010 at 2:28 am

If they are the same size and fits in perfect like table top range just swap them out.

FingerNails September 3, 2010 at 2:28 am

As long as there are no gas fittings the job should take an electrician about 5 minutes. Electrician should charge no more than £35-50. If you need to get the gas over connected you’ll also need a corgi registered gas engineer. Again about £35-50

Robert S September 3, 2010 at 3:11 am

You might give someone the old cooker if they change it out for you. If you are renting, the land lord might do it so he has an extra cooker. I would call an appliance repair place they might be interested. Or some place like the Salvation Army or Goodwill.

mimi September 3, 2010 at 4:06 am

I would say roughly £40-60

mickeymouse September 3, 2010 at 4:49 am

It is only a 20 minute job and should cost no more than £20.00
