Is it OK to put an electric oven (new stuff) close to a fridge? I know the new models have a cold door but I don’t know if it is the same thing for the sides of the oven.
I know the issue about putting an oven close to a fridge. I only want to know if it is the same thing for the new models of electric ovens…

As a fridge uses energy to cool, the higher the surrounding temperature, the more heat in the area the more energy needed ,therefore placing the fridge near a oven while ok will cost you more money to run
Not only will your refrigerator cost you more money to run haveing the oven this close will shorten it’s life.
It is best not to keep the oven so close to the fridge. This will make each appliance work harder, costing more energy and more money. In fact, a kitchen as a whole unit works best if you can create a triangle by using the sink, fridge and stove/oven at each corner. The energy from the appliances is utilized efficiently, and the general flow of the kitchen is smoother.
